Empty Nest Celebration
Parents are invited to a mid-summer potluck to eat and hang out. The best part of the empty nest celebration is of course to share what everyone has heard from their volunteers abroad!

Eva Brock, Emily's parent, is organizing an empty nest celebration potluck on Friday, July 11th. The address is 2112 Fortuna Court in Davis which is 1 block east of the Anderson Road traffic circle, near Covell Blvd.
Here's some of her thoughts:
- I have a swimming pool and hot tub, and will have the grill going. I'm trying to figure out what will be easiest for folks coming from work; how about if I provide burgers/veggie burgers and buns and condiments, and potluck salads/desserts and drinks?
- Folks can RSVP online (eviatrix@gmail.com) or by phone, (530)753-4612, and tell me what they are bringing so we can cover it all.
We realize that everyone can't make it but it's a nice opportunity to get together with other parents to hear how all the vols are doing and just chat with each other. Of course, the pool sounds particularly nice on a Friday night in mid-July.
