Become A Volunteer

We're looking for volunteers for summer 2010! Email us and tell us your name and school if you're interested!

 

 

We're thrilled that you're interested in becoming an AMIGOS volunteer with the Sac-Davis Chapter for 2009-2010. To apply, you must:

 

• be at least 16 years old by September of 2010

• have completed at least two years of high school Spanish or Portuguese, or have an equivalent level of fluency

 

 

Below you'll find the two steps it takes to become an AMIGOS Volunteer with the Sac-Davis Chapter:

 

1. Attend Our Orientation Meetings!

 

This year, we will have several orientations in September and October in both Davis and Sacramento. You only need to go to one orientation meeting, but make sure you do attend, because a lot of information about becoming a volunteer, and it will give you a good idea of what an Amigos summer is like. Anyone interested is welcome.

 

2. Attend Our Interview Days!

 

Interviews are an important part of the process to become an AMIGOS volunteer. Prospective volunteers (and their parents!) will be scheduled for an interview once they email amigosvolunteers@yahoo.com

requesting a time. This will be discussed more at orientation.
