WELCOME HOME!! It's our last official retreat together guys, but don't worry, it's gonna be pretty fun. The point is just to share stories and have a good time. We'll have snacks too! Mmm, American food...
To Bring:
- sleeping bag
- overnight clothes
- cots (we'll reimburse your parents the next day)
- pictures
- music
- mate, if you went to Paraguay!
- journals
- movies
- cards
- YOUR AMAZING STORIES!
- anything else you want to share!
Although this retreat is typically one of the funnest, we have a little business to get through too, such as...
- Reverse culture shock
- Staying involved
- Campus recruiting
- Training (what we expect + new model)
- Participatory Evaluation of chapter and projects
- Plan for the next day's round robin activity
Then, the next day, we're gonna wake up, set up for the potluck, and then our parents, friends, families, etc. are gonna come over at noon. We'll eat and have a round robin for the parents so they can get a little taste of what everyone's summer was like, too.
ALSO! If you know anybody who is even remotely interested in doing Amigos, invite them to this potluck on the 23rd! They'll get a good taste of what we do.
